  • A Habitat ReStore accepts new and used items from individuals, retailers, businesses, and contractors. These good quality items are sold to the public at a fraction of retail prices, with all proceeds going to Habitat for Humanity.

  • Daily! We accept donations every day we are open.

  • Please see the list of accepted items above.

  • Bring your donated items to the ReStore. If your items are too large, call us at 828.248.3178.

  • Yes. Call 828.248.3178 to schedule a pick up. These is no charge for this service.

  • Yes. The Habitat ReStore is part of Habitat for Humanity and is a 501(c) organization.

    We cannot place a value on any donations for tax purposes. This is the responsibility of the donor and tax professionals.

  • All sales ReStore 686 are final. The only exception to this is with appliances and electrical items. Appliances have a 14-day return policy. Beyond that, we do not accept returns. An electrical item (i.e., items with an electrical cord attached) that was sold as working may be returned and a store credit issued for the amount of the purchase if you find that it does not work.
